Catching Up

Last, but not least, this is a picture of the boys cute church outfits. I found the shirts at old navy and thought they were cute. And these pictures are of stew talking on the phone, while the boys eat his ice cream.

HAPPY FOURTH of July
For the fourth of July we decided to go camping since Stew had the day off. First we went over to breakfast with his parents ward. They have it at this fun park with water fountains that the boys love. Then we had a big BBQ lunch at our house with some family friends that were in town. Then we packed up and went camping, just 30miles south of here at a place called Devlis Head. When we got there we set up the tent(by "we" I mean mostly Stew) then we started a fire and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores. The boys had a blast being able to just run around and eat dirt! We brought there little bikes and they ran all over. When it got dark Tyler informed me it was his bed time and that he needed to go to bed!! we all slept great! We had wonderful weather, and NO RAIN! On saturday we made pancakes and then went for a hike. We had a great trip with just our little family.

For those of you who do not know, Stew had the opportunity to go to Lake Powell with his family one last time before his younger brother left on his mission. Unfortunately the only available weekend happened to be over Father's day weekend and our 5 yr. wedding anniversary. The boys and I were unable to go. So, we fixed a package to go with him. It had CD's we made for the trip, candy, snacks, ect.. Also, for Father's Day we made him a mouse pad with a picture of the boys and I on it (above-one w/the sign), we also made him a picture puzzle (also a picture above), and a deck of playing cards with a picture of the boys on them. We sent the package w/him and something to open each day!! He suprised me by having flowers delivered for our anniversary while he was gone. He had a nice relaxing trip and we were thrilled when he got back.

Summer fun! Our favorite place, the Denver ZOO and playing in the pool in the backyard.

Here is our little basketball star. Tyler is 100% Boy, all sports all the time.

These pictures are the boys around the house. We go to the pool 2-3 times a week and from the second they wake up Tyler wants to go outside, and since Conner cannot talk very much yet, he just brings me his shoes.

Living out here has it's perks, the boys get to see tons of wildlife. Sometimes when we are out on the trampoline deer will walk right up by us. We see sankes, bunny rabits, all bugs, we cath grasshoppers daily. Not so fun animals like bobcats, and mountain lions. Tyler's favorite are these little lizards we catch.

Some of you know Stew LOVES to waterski, however one morning they needed one more person on the boat so they could go, so me woke the boys up nice and early, I mean like 5:30a.m. early and we went boatin with him. Last year for his birthday I bought Stew an air chair (sky ski) So he and his brother have been trying to get better at that. Tyler loves to drive the boat, he sits on Stew's lap and he let's Tyler drive.

Here is a picture from Mother's Day. Stew and the boys made me this cute sign and hung it up so that I saw it when I woke up. He also let me sleep in, and he fed the kids. It was a great day!

Wow, you guys have been busy! I can't believe how big both of the boys look. You've ALMOST inspired me to take the boys camping... maybe an overnight stay at embassy suites could count? :)

Wow, so many great pictures and memories! You have such a fun family.

Thanks for the comment on my blog! You had asked what Chad is doing now--he is going to be the Chief Resident at Primarys for a year. We're applying to two different fellowships now, so by December we'll know the plans after that. We'll see!
