Merry Christmas

Christmas outfits! So, every year my kids get an outfit to wear to church that is there "christmas outfit" Here are picture from this years outfit.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was very quiet compared to normal b/c Lance was the only one who came home this year for christmas. It was the first Christmas really that Tyler really knew what was happening though and that made it so fun. He wrote a letter to santa, and loved all of the activites, traditions and treats we made. Santa was good to both of our boys this year. (they were really good) Tyler decided months before christmas that he wanted a Red RACE CAR bike(Lightning Mcqueen from the disney movie CARS). He saw it in a store one day and could not stop talking about it. So he wrote santa a letter asking him to bring it for him. It was so fun to see the look on his face when he opened it.!(they are wearing there christmas pajamas we get every year that they opened on christmas eve, another tradition)

The food pictures below are from our traditional HUGE christmas eve dinner that my parents have done every year my whole life. It is a canadian tradition from my dad. We have a wonderful spread of all sorts of incredibly good food, and my mom makes slush(a frozen drink you add sprite to). Then we all get our plates and sit in front of the TV and watch a christmas movie together. However I think the top picture is still everyones favorite table. My dad does what we call a Candy table in the front room. He puts it out on christmas eve with special candy and SEES chocolates, ect.. and leaves it until new years.

This is a picture of our stockings on christmas morning. Santa fills them up and leaves them on the couch in order of age. When we wake up in the morning we come in and look at our stockings, and then we make breakfast ans send one of the little kids to wake up my dad.
The boys sure had fun with their presents from santa!!

I gave Stew ROCK band for christmas and he and the boys love to rock out together. It is funny to watch Conner and Tyler get their guitars and jam with him. The other picture is a tradition from my dad. After we are done opening gifts on christmas day, we each take our things and put them on the couch and take a picture of it.(we say so we can remember, he does it for insurance purposes also)

Later in the day on christmas day we went over to Stew's parents house which was also unusually quiet since no one was able to come home from his family either. His sister Laura and her husband Brandon did get to come after christmas though and it was fun to see them.
