Trip to Colorado

In July the 3 boys and I headed out to Colorado!! We loaded up the Jetta w/everything we would need for the next month and set off on the 22 HOUR DRIVE across 6 state lines. (Luckily my dad took pity on me and flew my younger sister out to help w/the drive)

We arrived late Monday night, and the next morning we headed up to Grand Lake to a cabin my parents reserved for the week. It was SO fun. Dirt Bikes, ATV's, Fishing w/Grandpa, roasting marshmallows, games w/Grammy, non-stop fun w/cousins, Getting to spend time w/my most of my siblings, and a fun day in Winter Park. Thanks to everyone who came, the boys LOVED it.





Once we returned from the mountains we celebrated Tyler's 6th Birthday!


The highlight of his birthday! Stew & I gave him Roller Blades. (One more thing for him to compete with in the X GAMES)

Thanks to EVERYONE who came over and helped us celebrate with him! We had Stew on Skype since he was still in Ohio.


I also was able to head over to Utah for a few days for my cousins wedding. The boys had fun playing w/their cousins, seeing familiar faces, and we spent time with my Grandma & Grandpa Jacobs, which the boys LOVED. My Grandpa even took Tyler & Conner w/him to pick up his horses from a neighbor.(I didn't really take any pictures, so I will have to get one from Stew's sister Tami of all the kids together)


We were gone for 5 weeks in all before we made the long trek back. Since Tyler and Conner both lived at my parents house for the first few years of their lives, they think that it is home and that Ohio is just where we live for now! Highlights from the trip, COLORADO WEATHER!!(still working on collecting pictures from everyone else) Being around so much family, Boating with Stew's brother Justin who took the boys on a tube behind the boat and his parents were also able to come, Several trips to the Denver Zoo w/Grammy, cousins, aunts, Each boy getting stung by a Wasp(first time for everything, highlight they are not allergic and barely reacted),Family Dinners, getting to hangout with all of their cousins again, "helping" Grandpa in his garden, Seeing my younger brother Blake who recently returned from his mission, Yummy food from restaurants we don't have here(Cafe Rio), WATERWORLD Water Park w/my Aunt Diane and Cousins(Tyler is still asking to go back, he went on EVERY ride, even the ones that drop you straight down), catching up w/good friends who have already moved away from Ohio, attending my 10 Year High School Reunion!, The list goes on, so watch the video clip and see all the fun.



My sister Bird(aka Brittney)Gave me a Baby Shower while I was in town. It was a lot of fun to not only see everyone again, but see all the cute GIRLY outfits I received. Thanks to everyone who came and for helping me have some adorable outfits to put this little girl in.









My brother Blake was kind enough to make the long trek back with the Boys and I. We left on a Sunday morning and drove for 24hours straight back to Ohio! It was fun to have him see where we live and nice to have another driver. The Jetta was PACKED with all the extra stuff we brought back, including fresh picked vegetables from my dads garden!! See you next year Colorado, we will think of you often!
