Baby Blessing

We blessed Dustin in September. It was as always a wonderful experience. My parents and my little sister Brittney were able to fly out the Friday before! It felt like life was back to normal when they came! My kids are so used to having them always around after living with them the past 4 years. Wayne & Claradene and Stew's Grandma Fisher also came out for the blessing. Stew was of course oncall, so he wasn't around much! On Saturday we went to a local Children's museum called COSI, the boys had a great time exploring! Then we ate a quick bite at Steak'n'Shake, and went to see the movie "UP" at the dollar theater. It was a cute movie(what I saw). Part way through the movie Tyler walked over to my dad and said something, then they both got up and walked out. A few minutes later they walked back in, Tyler holding a giant thing of popcorn, and candy!! Apparently Tyler walked over to my dad and said, "Grandpa, would you please buy me some popcorn?" Who can say no to that? On Sunday we blessed the baby and then came home and had a wonderful Sunday dinner before my Dad and Bird had to leave! It was really hard to see them go! On Monday Stew's parents were able to head up to Kirtland and see the sights! They had a good time, and returned just in time for me to get them to the airport for their flight. My mom and I canned apples all day Monday. (The boys and I had gone apple picking the weekend before)We got them all ready so that I can pull out a jar, and instantly make apple crisp, apple pie, applesauce, ect and the apples are all ready! We have eaten some already and they are wonderful!! (Thanks MOM) She left later Monday night. It is too bad they have lives to go back to and can't stay longer! Thanks for coming, we truly appreciated it!
